Beginner Series: Yoga Foundations
Our 6-week beginners series introduces the fundamental principles of of yoga. Students will learn the basic postures (asana), breath work (pranayama) and how to connect movement to breath. Students will be introduced to yoga postures through step-by-step verbal description and demonstration. Emphasis is placed on understanding, safety, and ability within each pose. Modifications will be offered. If you have never tried yoga this is the class for you, designed to meet the needs of those new to yoga as well as those seeking continued understanding of basic yoga poses. When finished you should be comfortable attending most of our classes on the schedule. Join Amelia Fery every Saturday from January 13 - February 17, 2018 from 11:45am-1:00pm to explore the world of yoga and begin the journey of self inquiry.
