On Saturday, September 6th, join us for a workshop on how yoga can complement your fitness training. In this workshop, we’ll learn some basics for alignment in the major joints of the body, focusing on increasing range of motion in the shoulders and hips. In addition, we’ll practice some stretches you can use on your own in order to keep your body open and to help you recover more quickly from workouts. And, we’ll practice some more advanced poses in order to learn how to use our existing strength (especially in the core and through the trunk of the body) to create greater balance - you might even stand on your head!
